Cannabis Oil in Maine - FECO

Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil (FECO)

Innovation for Everyone

Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil (FECO) is the most potent cannabis product on the market today. FECO is a concentrated whole plant extract frequently mistaken for Rick Simpson Oil (RSO). Both dark, thick oils, the main difference between FECO and RSO is the solvent used for their extraction. Rick Simpson Oil is extracted using isopropyl alcohol, which is harmful when ingested. FECO uses food-grade grain alcohol, which is much safer for both production and consumption.

FECO contains the broadest spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes available in a specific cannabis product.

Cannabinoids and terpenes are responsible for the medical properties of cannabis – making FECO one of the most versatile treatment options for medical cannabis.  FECO is a dark oil typically packaged into syringes for metered doses. The beneficial part about FECO is it requires a dose of about the same size as a grain of rice to last almost the entire day. FECO should not be vaporized as they were produced for sublingual absorption (placing FECO under the tongue), oral consumption (cannabis edibles), or topical application. Consuming FECO orally will result in a more potent relief, whereas topical application will provide relief to localized areas. Many medical cannabis patients use FECO for comfort from severe pain and inflammation, some also find support for HIV/AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. If you’re unsure if FECO is right for you, give us a call or stop in, and we can help you out!

The reason FECO is so popularly potent – is due to a phenomenon called the Entourage Effect, which is to say the cannabis plant contains about ~ 113 cannabinoids, the most popular being Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Almost all of them have medicinal properties, but they can provide more substantial benefits when used together. Different cannabinoids contain different properties. Unlike any other cannabis product on the market, FECO includes the full spectrum of cannabinoids, which means even more interaction with our endocannabinoid system FECO, the most potent cannabis product and the best choice for medical marijuana patients.

The process is relatively simple and safe, so it can even be done at home. Here is an overview of the process in a few steps.

  1. Decarboxylation is your first step. This happens when cannabis is exposed to heat, essentially baking the cannabis. Skipping this first step may result in the product missing out on some crucial benefits.
  2. The next step is to make a cannabis-alcohol tincture. There are many simple ways to do this.
  3. Lastly, evaporation of the alcohol from the tincture must occur to be left with FECO. Such a simple process yields such amazing benefits.

Since FECO is naturally dark, it can be hard to determine pure quality and what isn’t without proper lab testing. If not acquired from a trusted source, the exact process and even choice of the plant used to make the oil could be questioned. When purchasing FECO, there are a handful of things you will want to pay attention to. For instance, is it organic/are there any additives? Is it made from leaves or flower, and has it been lab-tested/which cannabinoids does it contain? FECO made from flower will produce the best product, and lab-tested FECO will give you an exact on what cannabinoids are inside based on your medical needs. At Healthy Choice Cannabis, we process our very own FECO from our medical cannabis plants, so we know exactly what we’re putting in – and getting out. We use the same careful process every time. We wouldn’t want to be using anything other than the purest oils we can make, and that’s what we’re sharing with you!
